My name is Julia Cavour, and I’m the founder of MAMÚ.
Two years ago, I started designing bags, experimenting with shapes and proportions simply because I loved the process. I was looking for something different — sculptural, distinctive and timeless.
At first, they were only ideas. I never really thought one of my designs would become something real.
Until one day I thought — why not?
Why not turn one of those sketches into a bag I could actually wear?
And that is how MAMÚ began.
My design, brought to life with carefully considered details and made from Italian plant-based vegan leather. For me, MAMÚ is about creating pieces with character — thoughtful, distinctive and made to feel special.
